The Phantom Modular Holster has become the standard by which all other holsters are judged. Copied by many but equaled by none, the Phantom Modular Holster is the first choice of armed professionals and civilians. The Phantom was designed from the outset to provide the highest possible level of concealment by being adaptable to wear with virtually any style of clothing. What makes the Phantom so unique is its ultra-thin, body-hugging pancake profile. This profile, in conjunction with our Eclipse Modular Mounting System, allows the Phantom to be worn either on the belt or inside the waistband.
We construct the body of the holster from thin, high-strength Kydex-T. We chose to use a pancake-style design in order to minimize bulk and distribute the weight of the firearm over a wider area on the belt. The “outside” portion of the holster body fully enshrouds the weapon from ejection port to muzzle. The “inside” or “body-side” portion of the holster incorporates a full-length body shield. This enhances comfort and aids in re-holstering, while simultaneously protecting the controls of the pistol.
The Phantom ships with your choice of belt mounting option. All Phantoms are designed around the Eclipse Modular Mounting System, and are therefore compatible with all Eclipse Modular Accessories. Through the use of Eclipse Modular Accessories, the Phantom can be converted to one of over 20 different styles of OWB or IWB carry.
The Phantom Modular Holster has been proven under fire through heavy daily use around the globe for over five years. Since its introduction, tens of thousands of Phantoms have been used for everything from day-to-day concealed carry by civilians to offensive operations by Tier-1 military units. No other holster even approaches the versatility and functionality of the Phantom. Nor does any copycat product have the proven track record of the RCS Phantom.

I was looking for a good option that wouldn't take 6+ weeks to ship. I found RCS and their quick ship sight. I wouldn't have bought it if it was 6+ week wait. The holster I got is everything you could ask for. It sucks up to the pocket behind the hip and is not too uncomfortable. I did have some plastic shavings get into my gun in the beginning but after a while they stop. If you're carrying a 1911 get a good belt and this holster will work geat.

I own two 1911 style pistols, one is a Kimber custom II, the other is a pistol that I built from the ground up. I bought my firs RCS standard 1911 holster/double mag carrier used from ebay. Even though the rig was used, it showed almost no signs of wear. From the first time i put on my "new" rig, to when I holstered my weapon (the kimber), I said to myself-this is the holster company that you've been looking for. Since then I purchased another holster for my personal custom combat 1911 build with a rail and I will never look back. From the build quality to customer service to their warranty, RCS is now my go-to holster for EDC! If you are looking for a holster for your EDC or training or even competition shooting, the RCS is the way to go! You will not be disappointed!

These are great holsters (Phantom). I bought one for my full sized 1911 and my Sig P320 (carry size). The product is complete, seemingly well-designed, sturdy design but clean finish. There is a solid click when inserting the guns and when pulling them out. It feels like just the right amount of grip to both hold it snug while not feeling to hard to draw. Inserting while not looking is smooth once you gain the muscle memory, and you don't feel you need to look at it to make sure it's in right. Accessory attachment hardware is a good and simple design that makes sense. It's not one of those products that you think, "this is designed to fail" (so annoying when that happens, but not here, it's simple, but effective). I haven't run them for a long time at all yet but I see no issue happening. With the light plastic Sig, I could be hung upside down from my legs and shaken, and the gun won't come out. However, if I was hung from my legs and shaken, the full sized, loaded (45acp) all-steel 1911 would fall out. Still, I think they've found the sweet spot for gun retention... I won't be hung from my legs and shaken, and if I am, I forgive Raven Concealement because if it was any tighter I'd be annoyed. It's a heavy gun. If it was any tighter, it would pull my belt up too much in order to get it out. The quality of the "click" is perfect... it's a low-pitched snap that does not "clang"... not a high-pitched "clack" or a cheap "snap". It's more of a "cluck", with a little butter in it... it's the perfect ratio of feel and retention. Only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because, even though I'm happy with the fit/finish and construction, it's still a bit too expensive for a piece of molded plastic. Can't blame them for wanting to get more money for more marketing, but well, I'm paying for the product and not marketing or extra profit. I would recommend this product to anyone who is willing to pay like I was. I do not have much experience with other holsters that are plastic, just leather ones.

RCS never disappoints. Fit, function, quality keeps their product at the top of the list. Finding quality product is a challenge, Finding quality product that is left handed is even worse- RCS nailed it. Seems a Lefty crafted my holster, it is that good.

I already own another one of Raven Concealment's holsters. I was so impressed with it I bought one for a full-sized pistol I own. There products continue to amaze me. They are extremely comfortable and durable. I have been searching for a long time for a holster that was comfortable and concealable for my full size pistol. I have tried many holsters that have not lived up to my expectations however Raven Concealment holsters surpass them. They have earned themselves a life time customer. Their product is well worth the money!

I have tried numerous holsters in the past and have found RC Phantom Modular Holster one of the best. I have always carried a 1911 compact for my daily carry gun and have tried top of the line leather as well as other brands of Kydex holsters. RC's quality stands out. The retention is more than adequate to allow me to not think about my gun during the day and yet access is very crisp and smooth. Upon re-holster there is a definite, and reassuring, "click" that ensures a positive seat. The material is excellent quality, which is why I have purchased no less than five or six over the past number of years. I also like the belt loops used by RC when compared to some other companies. I have even converted an OWB holster to an IWB holster by simply purchasing the appropriate belt loops. I can't say enough about the quality but also, the delivery time on my last holster was within a couple of weeks. This was excellent since my last purchase was mainly for aesthetics.

Nice and slim holster for Colt Rail Gun good retention. I use it IWB with loops along with a DBL mag carrier also very slim and great retention. I will continue to order for my other weapons. Very satisfied with quality and promt shipping . I ordered the holster and mag carrier online the Sunday before thanksgiving and received it on the Saturday after thanksgiving. I purchased one of the earliest versions of this holster direct from Raven in 2005 at a gun show at Valley Forge PA. A few weeks ago I noticed a small hairline crack had started on the back section of the holster just at the point where the body shield begins to extend from the belt line.
I sent it in to Raven and it was replaced immediately, no questions asked. 11 years in almost daily use. The new, current version simply improves on an already benchmark design, certainly the result of a constant effort and desire to make the best possible holster.
