The Phantom Modular Holster has become the standard by which all other holsters are judged. Copied by many but equaled by none, the Phantom Modular Holster is the first choice of armed professionals and civilians. The Phantom was designed from the outset to provide the highest possible level of concealment by being adaptable to wear with virtually any style of clothing. What makes the Phantom so unique is its ultra-thin, body-hugging pancake profile. This profile, in conjunction with our Eclipse Modular Mounting System, allows the Phantom to be worn either on the belt or inside the waistband.
We construct the body of the holster from thin, high-strength Kydex-T. We chose to use a pancake-style design in order to minimize bulk and distribute the weight of the firearm over a wider area on the belt. The “outside” portion of the holster body fully enshrouds the weapon from ejection port to muzzle. The “inside” or “body-side” portion of the holster incorporates a full-length body shield. This enhances comfort and aids in re-holstering, while simultaneously protecting the controls of the pistol.
The Phantom ships with your choice of belt mounting option. All Phantoms are designed around the Eclipse Modular Mounting System, and are therefore compatible with all Eclipse Modular Accessories. Through the use of Eclipse Modular Accessories, the Phantom can be converted to one of over 20 different styles of OWB or IWB carry.
The Phantom Modular Holster has been proven under fire through heavy daily use around the globe for over five years. Since its introduction, tens of thousands of Phantoms have been used for everything from day-to-day concealed carry by civilians to offensive operations by Tier-1 military units. No other holster even approaches the versatility and functionality of the Phantom. Nor does any copycat product have the proven track record of the RCS Phantom.
The Phantom Modular Holster is compatible with non-suppressor height aftermark sights.

I am VERY disappointed with my most recent purchase. I own three Raven Phantom holders and the Eidelon. I have always considered your work exceptional and have carried religiously in your holsters for many years. My most recent order was for a G19 as my older Phantom is a straight drop and wanted a bit more cant. What I got in the mail was a VERY unpleasant surprise. Unlike all my other Phantom holsters this one has an open bottom with squared edges and is about 3/4" to 1" longer than the muzzle of the G19. It's almost as if it is sized to accommodate a tapered muzzle or compensator. The grain of the kydex is vastly different from even my G43 Phantom which I've had about a year. The contouring on the trigger area is pressed in only at the front of the trigger instead of completely around the trigger guard as older models. Because the back side of the holster is not flat against the body the area around the muzzle digs into the body weather IWB or OWB and the squared muzzle design also prints more.
The holster I received doesn't even remotely look like your older holsters or even ANY representation of what appears on your website. I'm not sure if you simply sent me the wrong holster or if this is your new design.
After a few emails back and forth to RSC they acknowledged this is their newest design which was done for a federal agency so that is what you get from now on. The older style phantom is not an option and I could return it if I didn't like it.
Very disappointed with what was once a great company. They have fallen into the trap of favoring mass production and profit over quality work and customer satisfaction.

The first time I holstered by Glock 22 I could feel the quality. The obvious click, no chafing during movements. I am delighted such a fine product is made here in the USA. Well designed and engineered by Americans for Americans. We need to replicate companies like Raven Concealment Systems and get our jobs back and our country back. This company is an inspiration for what is possible. God bless!

It's an excellent holster I only wish it had slightly more retention than what it does for a heavy pistol.
Editor's note: We would be happy to evaluate and adjust your holster for you. Please contact us at gearinfo.com at your earliest convenience.

First the pros and then the cons of this holster:
-Quality; Awesome quality, bar none. The holster comes with a little booklet with instructions to how properly set up the holster. Nice touch and very informative and useful.
-Looks, this is a subjective point, but a valid one. The holster attrack stares and questions about brand, where I got it? and the like. The holster looks badass.
-A big pro is the smart, ingenious retention system. You can not adjust the retention, but you don't need more tension unless you really don't want to pull the gun out of the holster at all. The retention system lies in the trigger guard and it is one of the best passive retention system out there.
-Comfort, it is very comfortable to carry.
-You can adjust the high of the ride
Now the CONS:
-The booklet comes with instructions to set up the holster for right hand shooters. So, setting up the belt loops for a lefty was a little challenging until you discover that the instructions are for RH shooters.
-I have to customize the holster reducing a little bit the area under the trigger guard in order for my hand to have a full grasp of the pistol grip. It took me literally ten minutes to shave the excess of Kydex in the area that I don't like, but this is a 100% personal preference and perhaps you are OK with the way the holster comes out of the manufacturer. In order for me to have a full grip I needed to have more "room" and therefore I needed to shave a little bit of the holster.
-Price, it is a little expensive, but you get what you pay for and the holster is good, damn good. This is the first holster that it is a pleasure to wear for hours and hours without becoming a pain in the ass.
Conclusion: If I would need to buy another holster I definitely would buy a holster from Raven Concealment again. Like they say, "Buy once, cry once."

I unfortunately had my gun stolen while it was in this holster. My first re purchase was this holster because it has always served me well. It's a great fit and I wear it off duty or during training exercises. Best value and best holsters all around.

I ordered a Phantom Modular holster for my Glock 17 on a Friday evening. I received the holster Monday afternoon. Granted, I'm in Michigan, so it wasn't shipping far, but I can definitely say with the Phantom Modular you get what you pay for! I have been wearing this holster for a week now and it hugs the large Glock 17 close to my body in OWB configuration, providing excellent concealment. The holster has a nice satisfying "click" when the pistol is inserted, so I can safely and confidently re-holster. I am a Raven customer and fanatic now. They are the real deal if you carry, especially a large pistol.

After spending much more then the cost of this holster on a slew of knock offs and wanna be competition I finially made the smart choice and bought the Raven and I couldn't be happier.
What's that old slogan? " often imitated never duplicated " well that applies to the phantom holster without a doubt. Don't waste your time or money buying else where just pony up the cash and buy what you know you really want /need.

I know the popular thing right now is AIWB carry, and I have tried it. As long time LEO keeping my on and off
Duty carry locations the same makes more sense.
Discovering RCS holsters has been one of the few new thing in the industry that have actually made me change how I do things. The ability to carry a weapon with a light both in AND off duty was huge. This, paired with the new Copia mag pouch and a good belt is the perfect carry system.
