The Eidolon is the culmination of over three years of design and development. It is designed to be the most refined and functional inside-the-waistband holster on the market. At the core of the Eidolon is the holster shell. The shell is precisely fitted to the weapon on the inside and is smooth on the outside to work in conjunction with the body, belt, and clothing -in nearly any carry position- to maximize comfort and concealment. At the same time, the shell provides attachment points for a host of accessories to allow the user to tailor the holster for their specific carry needs.
The holster shells feature an innovative, adjustable retention feature that isolates the tension solely on the front of the trigger guard. This provides for an extremely clean “feel” when drawing and holstering - unlike other companies’ adjustable retention holsters which simply compress the holster body along the entire trigger guard and/or frame, resulting in a mushy feel as the pistol drags against the inside of the holster.
All Eidolon holster shells are fully compatible with most extended controls, factory and after-market sights of any height (including suppressor sights), any type of RDS mounted behind the ejection port, and most extended/threaded barrels.
The Eidolon Full Kit gives you all the accessories needed to optimize your holster for either AIWB or IWB carry on nearly any body type. The Eidolon Full kit is a tuckable, versatile, and comprehensive IWB/AIWB holster package that can be used with one or both belt attachments and give you hundreds of potential configuration options. The Full Kit includes:

This is the holster that I should have purchased instead of the box full that I have in the closet! It does need a nose piece to make it more comfortable. Raven does not sell one so I made one myself and it is now the most comfortable holster I have ever worn.
It retains good. It conceals well. It adjusts in many different ways. I'm happy. The only con is a completely open bottom which dropped my rating one star.
Editor's Note: The Eidolon G19 Universal model is open on the bottom to allow for larger Glock firearms. The Eidolon G17 model has beveled edges and has an opening large enough for a threaded barrel.

Like the holster. But would like to see the the bottom less of a sheer and have the edges rolled so it won't dig in as much. I'm a leftie so I'm referring to the bottom left side where it contacts left leg.
Editor's Note: You might want to try the shell for the G17 version of the Eidolon. The bottom edges are beveled but there is an opening for a thread barrel. It will not accommodate the larger Glock firearms that the G19 verision will.

The claw is awesome for concealment, great protection of the trigger so I don't have to worry about it, and great retention. Extremely happy and impressed with this holster.

Like many, I always seem to end up buying more holsters than guns, trying to find the Goldilocks holster that is "just right". The Eidolon lets me comfortably conceal my G 19 under a light t-shirt. It prints less than my G43 in an Incog G-Code. For reference, I'm 5'9" and about 170 lbs.

I have the G19 size with the softloops. At 5'7" - 185 It is challenging finding an AIWB holster that offers good concealability and comfort, the Eidolon is excellent in both respects and has become my "GO TO" holster. it is also fast to draw from and retention is very good, all around just a great piece of gear

I have been using the Eidolon for a few months now with both the G17 and G19 in the appendix position. I feel that it offers excellent concealment and it is also comfortable for me personally. I would certainly recommend this holster to anyone who is looking to appendix carry a Glock. With that being said I wouldn't mind it if this holster became available for the G29/30/30s.

Not as comfortable as the entire world claimed it was. I think the overall package is fairly well thought out and flexible with the exception that it's not a light bearing holster.
I sent an email requesting a return and I've yet to hear from them. Because of that I've since cut the tip of the holster down to the size that accommodates the G19 and given it to my girlfriend for her19 so that it wouldn't be a complete waste of $100.
I should have purchased the phantom holster. Live and learn.
Don't bother with the refund Raven.

I have been carrying aiwb off and on for a year and a half using the Vanguard 2 system. I am 6' 1" and weigh 210 lbs. When I decided that I would carry aiwb full time an I needed a different holster. Did my research and bought the Eidolon holster- Full kit with soft loop struts. I can not believe how comfortable this holster is. The belt claw helps keep the gun grip next to your body. The holster wedge keeps the holster pushed out from the body and makes carrying more comfortable.
I have made many adjustment to the holster in the three weeks I have been using the Eidolon which is one of the advantages of this modular holster.
Customer service is great. I emailed them with a question and received a prompt reply and they answered all my questions. I am no expert on aiwb carry but I am very satisfied with this purchase. I think you will be too and if you are not you can send it back in 30 days for a no questions asked refund.

I've used several appendix carry holsters while trying to find the perfect combination of utility and comfort. Unfortunately, there was always a compromise. For the last few years I had settled with using the Incog, but I knew that it was still a compromise. When Raven introduced the Eidolon I was intrigued because I have used the Phantom for OWB (and honestly even IWB for a bit) as my main training and hiking holster, so I knew that the quality and engineering was top notch. After reading numerous positive reviews, I decided that it was time for me to try to stop compromising once and for all.
I revived my Full Kit Eidolon three days after I placed the order. Upon first inspection there was something that was immediately obvious, there wasn't a single sharp edge! It was obviously designed for the user, and well designed at that. I followed the included instructions and had it set up in about ten minutes. The Eidolon felt great tucked in, and the included clips secured the holster to my Ares Aegis belt perfectly. Just looking down, it was obvious that the grip of my Glock 19 was tucked in closer to my body than any other holster had before and provided excellent concealment. After spending some time wearing it around the house and practicing draws it was time for the first real world test, sitting in a theater for two hours to watch a movie. Without a doubt, it was the most comfortable movie experience that I've ever had while carrying. I've had it for several weeks now, I very much look forward to additional range testing. I have no doubt that this is the best designed and most comfortable IWB holster ever created.
