The Eidolon is the culmination of over three years of design and development. It is designed to be the most refined and functional inside-the-waistband holster on the market. At the core of the Eidolon is the holster shell. The shell is precisely fitted to the weapon on the inside and is smooth on the outside to work in conjunction with the body, belt, and clothing -in nearly any carry position- to maximize comfort and concealment. At the same time, the shell provides attachment points for a host of accessories to allow the user to tailor the holster for their specific carry needs.
The holster shells feature an innovative, adjustable retention feature that isolates the tension solely on the front of the trigger guard. This provides for an extremely clean “feel” when drawing and holstering - unlike other companies’ adjustable retention holsters which simply compress the holster body along the entire trigger guard and/or frame, resulting in a mushy feel as the pistol drags against the inside of the holster.
All Eidolon holster shells are fully compatible with most extended controls, factory and after-market sights of any height (including suppressor sights), any type of RDS mounted behind the ejection port, and most extended/threaded barrels.
The Eidolon Full Kit gives you all the accessories needed to optimize your holster for either AIWB or IWB carry on nearly any body type. The Eidolon Full kit is a tuckable, versatile, and comprehensive IWB/AIWB holster package that can be used with one or both belt attachments and give you hundreds of potential configuration options. The Full Kit includes:

Have recommended people buying this holster, actually got the full kit for myself. If you are on a budget the basic holster will work great but the full kit is fantastic

Great system, although I cut off about an inch from the bottom. This made the holster more comfortable when seated. The G19 extends out the bottom, while the G26 is flush.

Very fast service. Ordered online at night and it was shipped the next day! Easy to assemble and fit my pistol perfectly. I am a big guy and carry appendix. This holster allows me to easily conceal a glock 23, not easily done for someone who is average height and weighs 275 lbs. I highly recommend this holster!

This holster is extremely well-designed. It allows me to conceal my Glock 19 just as easily as my single-stack Glock 43 at the appendix (11-12 o'clock, left handed) position. I could honestly probably upgrade to a G17 in this thing and still have no trouble concealing it! The wedge and claw on this holster, as well as the positioning of the clips are able to really pull the grip into your body like nothing I've ever tried before.
I was afraid the rubber wedge and the claw might make it uncomfortable by poking me or sucking the grip in too hard that it would hurt when seated, but it doesn't seem to bother me at all whether I'm seated or standing! I would still give the G43+Incog (which I also really like, not talking down on G-Code or the Incog here) combo the slight edge in comfort, but that's only because it's about half the size so you notice less in your pants. The Eidolon is the far superior holster for concealment, and is probably more comfortable overall as well if comparing holsters for the same-sized gun (G19).
The draw and re-holstering are extremely smooth and inspire confidence. The shell and all the components look and feel very high quality as any raven product I've experienced does. If you're on the fence about it, hopefully this review has been helpful for you - I fully recommend buying this holster.

The holster is distinctly NOT the most comfortable AIWB holster I’ve used. This may be related to my individual body habitus. Therefore, what follows is a description so that if you’re built the same way, you can know what to expect. I’m 55 years old, but still 135 pounds & 5’4”. Between my umbilicus, (belly button), and pubic symphysis, (midline pubic bone anteriorly), I’ve got virtually no fat, can’t pinch a ¼ inch, & don’t have a muffin top or tactical shelf. Short and thin is a fair descriptor
I’m using the G17 Eidolon shell that has a beveled bottom. Without the claw, the G17 Eidolon shell offers no advantage over a variety of easily found, much less expensive, and significantly more comfortable kydex holsters.
Eidolon has the interesting additional claw. When installed, the claw rotates the Eidolon shell clockwise, (as viewed form above), around the pistol’s bore axis. This axial rotation of the Eidolon’s shell approximates the pistol grip’s butt to the concealed carrier’s body. Consequently, the flat posterior surface of the Eidolon’s shell no longer rests flush on the abdomen. Rather, the corner of the shell then creates an unpleasant “hot spot” against the abdomen.
Mathematically, pressure is force over an area, or p=f/a. As a reader, please follow this, and as a designer at RCS, please follow this too. Discomfort is caused by pressure. When the claw rotates the Eidolon shell, less shell
(area) is in contact with the skinny man’s abdomen, and when contact area goes down, pressure goes up. Perhaps if you’ve got surplus adipose tissue below your belly button, there will be less pain because the fat increases surface area in contact with the Eidolon shell. For a thin guy, so far, a holster’s corner pressing on abdominal muscle has been unpleasant.
While doing light outdoor work, the Eidolon was noticeable because of the discomfort. The next day, I looked at my belly, & actually developed a hematoma where the Eidolon’s corner pressed into my abdominal muscle.
So you’d think the posteriorly mounted holster wedge would increase contact area, thereby decreasing pressure & discomfort, right? Well, actually, for a skinny guy, that is not what happens. The wedge attaches to the holster shell on the area of the Eidolon that is rotated out of contact with the body. Do you follow that? If your abdomen is flat, the wedge is essentially worthless.
For me, establishing a solid firing grip prior to drawling the pistol is of paramount importance. Some creative tinkering is required to get the grip to ride at the proper distance above the belt line.
I was wearing the Eidolon at about 1 o’clock or 2 o’clock after the hematoma developed, and it is perhaps a better fit there. Had it on for 8 hours in that position without a hematoma.
So what can you learn from this review? Eidolon may not be the best holster if your belly is flat.
I’m going to give it another week and try the G19 shell to see if the shorter shell helps.

This is an excellent fitting holster and very nice to receive all the attachments to make the perfect fit. My only concern is no matter how the retention screw is adjusted, the gun is not held firmly. There is only a small resistance when holstering or unholstering the pistol. I've played with the retention all the way down as far as it will go and if I hold the holster upside down, an unloaded gun will not stay in place. Seems very susceptible to being inadvertently pulled high enough to access the trigger guard or not maintaining control of it during a fight.
Editor's Note: Sorry you are having a problem with the retention. If your Glock is a Gen 1 or Gen 2, you will not have proper retention. You should also test the retention with the holster on your belt and on your body. Your belt and body both add to the retention of the holster.
You are also welcome to return the holster under our 30 day return policy if you are not satisfied. Thank you!

I've been running a full-kit Eidolon for just over two years now, after being disappointed with three other competitors' "AIWB" rigs to the point of almost giving up hope for the carry position. The Eidolon completely shattered all of my expectations and reservations.
The claw and wedge tuck my grip enough that I've been carrying everywhere I go - including NPEs, which was something I was unable to accomplish previously and left a glaring hole in my defensive capabilities - since adopting the rig, and doing so comfortably and with no concerns about being "made." The open bottom of the G19-sized shell allowed me to carry my G34 when my 19 was down for service, which I never would have imagined to be comfortably possible. The thoughtful design and construction of the holster makes it almost comfortable to carry all day while seated, in a vehicle, or moving/bending while I perform random tasks at home. I honestly can't speak highly enough of this rig. If it were offered for frames besides the Glock family, it would be my hands-down recommendation to anyone and everyone looking for a holster.
Then there's the customer service. Good god, the customer service. After two years of hard use (and borderline abuse) through a dozen classes, everyday carry, and loaning to friends for pre-purchase testing, I finally developed a crack on the outboard rim on the top of the holster. Not aware of the lifetime warrantee, I continued to carry it. A week or two ago, likely from being dropped with my pants onto a hard floor (are we not doing phrasing anymore?), I discovered a chip in the bottom of the holster mouth. It was stabby and sharp. I duct taped it as a temporary fix while I debated dropping the coin on another shell. The duct tape wasn't all that helpful. After I ordered an Eidolon for my father (watching someone run a hybrid rig behind the hip is borderline aneurysm-inducing) for Christmas, I happened to notice the Warranty section of the website and shot off a note to customer service. I got an email the same day and a phone call the very next day to get me on my way and make sure my order was squared away. Because I'm a terrible customer, I even requested new hardware be sent since mine was rusting by no fault of Raven.
Two days later, I had my warranty kit and then some, which I was able to set up before sending my old shell back to prevent a disruption in my routine. They literally sent me brand new gear, just trusting that I'd send the old shell back and that it was broken as I'd described. That's absolutely outstanding.
If you want to carry your Glock AIWB and you've either never tried it before or never had luck doing so comfortably, just stop what you're doing right now and buy this holster. Top notch product with an awesome company standing firmly behind it - what more could you want?
You guys are awesome, and thanks again!

This is my 4th or 5th AIWB holster I've tried and is definitely my last one. The amount of customization available to the end user is awesome. It allows a proper ride height for full grip access during draw as well as comfort and conceal-ability. I can carry my 19 with a normal fitting T-Shirt comfortably and I'm a smaller guy at 5'8" 165 lbs. This holster also allows easier re-holstering then my previous ones. Totally worth the price.

I debated purchasing this holster for quite some time because of the price. Finally decided on giving it a try. I should not have waited so long to get one of these. I have used alot of different holsters ranging from Kydex, Leather,Hybrid all IWB. This one is by far the best. It takes some time getting use to the overall size of the holster and all of the attachments. But once you have it set up it makes the firearm disappear. I normally carry g19,g17 one of which has an RM06 on it. there is no printing issues and or reholstering issues. does not move around on your belt or anything like that. I do use the belt claw so it pulls in the grip of the gun a little tighter making it easier to carry the g17 in. Over all really impressed with the whole setup. As for customer service top notch I have not had to call for parts or anything but before I ordered I gave them a call an spoke with them about the holster and which set up would be best and compared it to a few others. They did not try to push a sale and answered everything with out giving the nod to their product every time.

Been looking at Raven for a very long time, this was my first purchase. I've made my own kydex holsters in the past and a lot of what they have done with the Eidelon I've done prior to them doing it. No not tooting my own horn or saying I'm better, if I were id have my own fabrication. So the belt claw would be better if we were able to extend it out away from the holster just a bit more in order to press the butt of handgun in a bit more to the body. The wedge I feel would best serve if it were lower on the muzzle and a bit thicker to press the slide a little more onto the body. Of course it may not work so well with those who have "when you have a tool like mine, you got to build a shed over it" type body. I understand and know the concept, thanks to Kyle and Raven for working on it. I do like my Eidolon and I am still working the best way for me to wear it. Right now still using my self modified G-code Incog with comp tac, and my version of the wedge with Velcro. Keep up the good work and thank you for those who have served.
