The ModuLoader Pocket Shield was conceived by Chris Fry, owner of MDTS Training, and was co-developed with, and manufactured by Raven Concealment Systems.
The Pocket Shield is a flexible, modular platform which allows an individual to securely and discreetly carry a small defensive implement (such as a firearm, pistol magazine, fixed-blade or folding knife, flashlight, canister of pepper spray, expandable baton or other impact weapon, multi-tool, etc) inside the front pocket of jeans or dress pants without visible pocket clips or printing.
The Pocket Shield is shaped to ride comfortably in the front pocket of most pants, and provides consistent orientation within the pocket to facilitate quick-access and deployment of an individual’s light or weapon. The platform is made from flexible, high-strength polymer that conforms to the shape of the user’s body for all-day carry comfort; yet it is rigid enough to remain anchored securely inside the pocket during strenuous movement or weapon deployment.
The unique mounting slots on the Pocket Shield allow users to attach nearly any small knife sheath or pocket holster to the platform at a wide range of angles. It can even be trimmed by the user to facilitate achieving a full fighting grip on the weapon or to fit in smaller pockets.
The Pocket Shield not only provides a stable platform – it masks the profile of whatever is attached to it. This is especially important for those who must wear dress pants or other garments made with thin, clingy material.
Prototypes and pre-production units of the ModuLoader Pocket Shield have been tested and fielded both domestically and abroad in a variety of non-permissive environments, with excellent results. This simple tool is a must-have for anyone conducting low-profile/no-profile missions.
Like all RCS products, the ModuLoader Pocket Shield is 100% U.S.-made, and is covered by our unconditional lifetime guarantee.

It's a great idea that can only get better. That it can be cut down to size is a nice feature. If they start making different weights it can only get better. This is great in dockers and normal pans where the canvas is enough to support the weight of your EDC. Light weight suit pants are a lost cause.
It's tough to get it curved past a certain point for very long. Maybe boiling it or a lighter weight version would help that.

The pocket shield allows a person to do a number of things. The first thing it does is allows the user to organize what's in their pockets. The second thing is that it creates space to access those tools. The third is that it hides the outline of those tools. The pocket shield is not just for "tactical" EDC (although it is perfect for that) but it's just as useful for regular EDC.
The pocket shield is made out of a durable material that is both flexible and rigid. This allows it to work in a variety of pocket sizes and hold items in place.
So far I've been experimenting with several set ups and I like the versatility so much I haven't been able to decide on just one particular way to carry my EDC. So I've come to the conclusion I need several!

Excellent product, RSC hit another one out of the park. This product is so versatile. Not only can I hold stuff in my pocket discreetly, but I can take it out and of my EDC is right there. I can grab this thing put in my pocket and I have all of my EDC, or I can put in my gym bag and all of my stuff is right there. My wife wants couple for her purse & pocket.

I carry knives and a J frame in my pockets. I haven't found a good solution to deep pocket carry until now. I purchased one for each pocket. Left pocket holds my loader and a light and right holds my jframe and a push dagger. Great product!

Works as advertised to keep items vertical and easy to reach. Don't have to dig around for my folding knives and flashlight.

I love this product.
I can now EDC a smaller fixed blade knife, a Klarus XT1C flashlight, and a Delica completely concealed in my pocket, with no clips showing, and I can access them with ease since they remain indexed in their proper positions. My keys go into this pocket too, and I have no issues with working around the pocket shield. Sometimes I will even toss my phone in there too.
I use this mostly in Levis and cargo shorts. In dress pants I can't just throw my keys and phone in on top of everything.
