The Phantom Modular Holster has become the standard by which all other holsters are judged. Copied by many but equaled by none, the Phantom Modular Holster is the first choice of armed professionals and civilians. The Phantom was designed from the outset to provide the highest possible level of concealment by being adaptable to wear with virtually any style of clothing. What makes the Phantom so unique is its ultra-thin, body-hugging pancake profile. This profile, in conjunction with our Eclipse Modular Mounting System, allows the Phantom to be worn either on the belt or inside the waistband.
We construct the body of the holster from thin, high-strength Kydex-T. We chose to use a pancake-style design in order to minimize bulk and distribute the weight of the firearm over a wider area on the belt. The “outside” portion of the holster body fully enshrouds the weapon from ejection port to muzzle. The “inside” or “body-side” portion of the holster incorporates a full-length body shield. This enhances comfort and aids in re-holstering, while simultaneously protecting the controls of the pistol.
The Phantom ships with your choice of belt mounting option. All Phantoms are designed around the Eclipse Modular Mounting System, and are therefore compatible with all Eclipse Modular Accessories. Through the use of Eclipse Modular Accessories, the Phantom can be converted to one of over 20 different styles of OWB or IWB carry.
The Phantom Modular Holster has been proven under fire through heavy daily use around the globe for over five years. Since its introduction, tens of thousands of Phantoms have been used for everything from day-to-day concealed carry by civilians to offensive operations by Tier-1 military units. No other holster even approaches the versatility and functionality of the Phantom. Nor does any copycat product have the proven track record of the RCS Phantom.

These are great holsters. I bought one for my full sized 1911 and my Sig P320 (carry size). The product is complete, seemingly well-designed, sturdy design but clean finish. There is a solid click when inserting the guns and when pulling them out. It feels like just the right amount of grip to both hold it snug while not feeling to hard to draw. Inserting while not looking is smooth once you gain the muscle memory, and you don't feel you need to look at it to make sure it's in right. Accessory attachment hardware is a good and simple design that makes sense. It's not one of those products that you think, "this is designed to fail" (so annoying when that happens, but not here, it's simple, but effective). I haven't run them for a long time at all yet but I see no issue happening. With the light plastic Sig, I could be hung upside down from my legs and shaken, and the gun won't come out. However, if I was hung from my legs and shaken, the full sized, loaded (45acp) all-steel 1911 would fall out. Still, I think they've found the sweet spot for gun retention... I won't be hung from my legs and shaken, and if I am, I forgive Raven Concealement because if it was any tighter I'd be annoyed. It's a heavy gun. If it was any tighter, it would pull my belt up too much in order to get it out. The quality of the "click" is perfect... it's a low-pitched snap that does not "clang"... not a high-pitched "clack" or a cheap "snap". It's more of a "cluck", with a little butter in it... it's the perfect ratio of feel and retention. Only reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is because, even though I'm happy with the fit/finish and construction, it's still a bit too expensive for a piece of molded plastic. Can't blame them for wanting to get more money for more marketing, but well, I'm paying for the product and not marketing or extra profit. I would recommend this product to anyone who is willing to pay like I was. I do not have much experience with other holsters that are plastic, just leather ones. It's also noteworthy that when you submit a review, it only goes up "pending review".

With no previus relationship with Raven, I was banking on their own propaganda. I plunked down my money, which was a serious commitment fron a retired LEO, and took my chances.
When I recieved the finished product from Raven I was more than satisfied.
They, by their actions, affirmed my decision to commit to them. They wrote the headline.

I have three Raven Phantom holsters. One, this last order, for a Sig P320 Compact, one for full sized 1911's and one for a Sig P226. They all provide the closest to the body wear for any OWB I have used. The only reason this last Phantom did not get five stars is that I have to trim a bit of the kydex back where my middle finger contacts the edge of the holster where it covers the trigger when I get a full grip just prior to drawing.

Its a great holster. I also bought the IWB clips very comfortable with it IWB. OWB is great too. Its nice to have a holster that you can do both with.

Have bought in the past and will buy again. Highly recommend you try these holsters and mag carriers. PERFECT!!!

This is the 3rd holster I have bought from Raven. First two were for my wife and I's Glocks and they did not disappoint at all. I ordered another one yet again for my new Sig 226 R and I love it. Couple of pointers for you....
1. Buy the quick mount straps !!! They are the only way to carry/wear the phantom holster. It hugs the body so nicely with the straps, I've used the pancake wings and the standard loops and they just don't compare to the quick mount straps
2. When installing the quick mount straps, use the small screws not the long ones. You'll have to get the extra short screws from the standard belt set, but use those. The short screws get the male portion on the holster a lot tighter, thus making it easier to get the snap on easier
3. Rub some Chapstick on the male portion before you try to put the snap on, it aides in snapping it on and leave it on for at least 24 hours without un snapping it.
4. The holster for the Sig is a little tight, I rubbed a very light amount of grease on the inside of the holster and it comes out nice and smooth, don't know if heating it up would make a difference or not and I'm honestly not willing to find out.
Over all an out freaking standing holster from Raven, no complaints no issue and their customer service is top notch....period end. Kathy is amazing !!! I had a issue with the first set of quick mount straps I ordered from Raven for my Glock and she replaced them without hesitation and told me to keep the old ones, just in case I could get them to work. That's customer service folks !!!

I already owned Phantoms for my HK USP40 Compact and Sig P229R .40. Both of these worked out perfectly, so I got one for my Sig P239 9mm. My first two holsters had to be custom ordered, so I was happy to see the P239 holster was a Quick Ship item. It arrived in about a week. It is not quite as tight as the others were. I think it has the perfect amount of retention. I did NOT have to Dremel it to fit my Crimson Trace Lasergrips. Like my other Phantoms, it holds my gun high and tight. It is all-day comfortable. I'm 5'6" 138 lb., and I can easily conceal any of these guns under a light cover garment such as a 5.11 Covert shirt.

Fits like a glove but a bit tight on the trigger guard. I heated it with a heat gun and the retention is where I like it. The quick mount strips are hard to snap on and off at the beginning but working OK for now. The screws holding the straps scratches the belt so I've ordered the standard loops. The sweat shield is perfect. It does not interfere with the grip and helps guide the muzzle into the holster.

It is well worth the wait for the lead times. Excellent retention combined with the smoothest draw. Rides nice and close to the body. Pull the trigger and get one.
