Fits Gen 3 and 4 Glock 9/40/357 Pistols. The VanGuard 2 Advanced Kit is a capability upgrade to our venerable VanGuard 2 minimalist IWB holster. Unlike traditional IWB holsters, the VG2 covers only the trigger guard of your weapon. This unique design eliminates the bulk of a traditional holster, while providing a level of safety and security not attainable by simply sticking a pistol in the waistband of your pants. The VG2 Advanced Kit’s inclusion of the RCS CLAW takes this system’s concealability to the next level, by leveraging the grip of the pistol close to the body, while still allowing for a clean, repeatable draw.
The VanGuard 2 Advanced Kit with the RCS CLAW can be equipped with either a Tuckable strut with overhook or Tuckable strut with soft loop, to allow you to choose the best belt interface system for your carry and mission type. This combination is adjustable for ride-height and cant, is fully ambidextrous, and is the ultimate in deep concealment technology when combined with our proprietary tuckable struts.
Please note that the VG2 Advanced kit is not compatible with the Basic Kit Strut or the Lanyard option. VG2 CLAWs are only compatibe with the model of VG2 shell specified. For example, a Glock VG2 CLAW will NOT fit a M&P VG2 holster shell.
Please be aware, we do not advise attempting to re-holster the weapon while the VG2 is inside your clothing. You should remove the VG2 and install it on the weapon outside of your waistband.

I think this holster is great. I have tried many different brands and types of holsters. I even make my own custom kydex holsters just the way I want them. The benefit of the vanguard is that it doesnt add any additional thickness to the gun. This allows a 10mm G20 to feel more like a thinner 9mm version. This makes a world of difference for me when it comes to comfort. Because this product is injection molded, it can provide great retention. And, I have always prefered the soft loop and strut setup. It allows you to tilt the gun as needed when sitting.
The claw can really push the grip of a larger firearm into your body, but may not be needed for smaller guns. I may shave a little material off the claw to adjust the position of the grip, but this should be very easy to do.
Raven Concealment - PLEASE MAKE ONE FOR A G43!!!

This is amazing. I have a traditional appendix holster for my glock 43 and I compared thickness to my 19 in the VG2 and the 19 is thinner. It is perfect on my motorcycle because the cant ever so slightly adjusts and adapts to my body positions. I went from saying I'd never conceal a full size pistol to only concealing my 19 all because of the VG2. The claw makes the gun hug my body and reduces the print significantly.

This holster fits my G4 19 perfectly and is a great IWB fit as well. I went with the over hooks as I have them on my phantom holster too. They hold tight and yet allow easy on and off. The draw is nice but snug making you feel good about security with little additional bulk. The addition of the claw works very well with this holster. I recommend the VG2 to anyone looking to carry IWB. Hope to see in a G4 42 some day soon for my wife.

I purchased the RCS VG2 to try against a custom belt clip AIWB holster and an Incog. Hands down the VG2 is more adjustable and surprisingly more comfortable than both. The claw keeps it in place, and the belt loop is more secure than plastic clips, also easier to put on and take off one handed. Great product, and it will not be my last RCS product.

Love the basic's minimalism but not the belt loop.
Love the advanced's belt hook but not the claw.
I carry in the 4:00 position, and maybe that's not where the claw has the most benefit. At any rate, I like them both but wish there was a version with a belt hook but no claw.

This holster conceals great! I can now carry my full size Glock 22 under a shirt without printing in appendix carry. I love that you can still use the slide while your trigger is covered. Very impressed.

I was a bit skeptical about purchasing the VG2 Advanced Kit, having shelved my original VG2 a while ago for several reasons (one of which was the complication of reattaching the holster into the waistband and onto the belt with the soft loops).
I was curious about the potential convenience of the overhook and the added concealability due to the CLAW, and I'm glad I took the plunge: the overhook makes clipping and unclipping the VG2 a breeze and even stays secure in the drawstring waistband of a pair of sweatpants, while the CLAW does a great job of pulling the bottom of the grip into your body for less printing through a cover garment.
Interesting how the addition of these two simple items have thrusted the VG2 onto the forefront of my off-duty handgun holster options. Great job, RCS!

I got this to carry my G17. It works as advertised. It is very comfortable and eliminates all the bulk of traditional holsters. The claw addition makes a wold of difference on the conceal ability of a full size gun. I would buy again.

I got the VG2 for my 26 and 19. What I really like about it is that it rides a little higher than other trigger guard systems I have. When sitting down the gun isn't poking you anywhere. The ability to apply a little bit of cant also helps fine tune the fit for comfort and maximum concealment based on the gun and clothes you are wearing. Snaps over the trigger guard firmly and the belt clips are easy on and off yet hold tightly. The belt claw really does work. Just that little bit of separation really does make a huge difference in quickly getting your hand onto the grip reliably every time. Appendix carry was never totally comfortable, but this will be my go-to carry method from now on.

I have worn this holster everyday with a Glock 19 for the past few weeks. It is by far the best concealment holster I have used. However, I have had a few instances where the holster has come off the trigger guard while I've been wearing it due to moving around, going from sitting to standing, e.c.t. This is the primary reason I gave it three stars. Also, I have found for me it is more comfortable to carry in a regular IWB holster. With this holster the firearm tends to dig into my hip.
